Two RaLET staff members bid farewell to our school last week. Eileen, our lollipop lady, finally hung up her lollipop after nine years of keeping the kids safe crossing the road. We will miss you Eileen, good luck in your retirement!
We also said goodbye to Dermot Higgins, a teacher who has worked in the school for nine years. Dermot was also one of the parents who originally set up the school in 2003. Dermot has been involved in many projects withing the school in his time here. He will be sorely missed and we wish him all the very best in his retirement and in his cycle around the world.
We had an assembly to say goodbye to Dermot and Eileen and some videos can be viewed below.
Junior Infants sang some songs on film.
3rd Class told some poems about Dermot.
