Spring has sprung in first class. We have been learning about the many changes that happen in spring and we have read lovely stories and created beautiful art work based around this theme.
We have also been very busy in maths. We have done lots of working with addition
of tens and units without and with regrouping and we are now
working on length. Look at us having great fun racing our frogs during maths stations!
Seachtain na Gaeilge was a massive hit in first class. The children loved being ag saint as Gaeilge with the puppets. We had a fabulous assembly and we were even invited down to the caifé to have some
pancóga agus craic.
Finally, we have had a busy time in PE. Sean from Daly Plus facilitated our P.E lessons for 3 weeks and we had brilliant fun with all his brilliant games. We have also been working on gymnastics with Áine.
