We have been doing lots of fun things in Senior Infants since returning to school after the Winter Break!
1. Our Aistear theme this month was The Café. We had great fun dressing up and opening our own little café in the role play area. We served our teachers and SNAs lots of yummy cakes in the playdough area!
2. We got some new furry friends in our calm corner area and have helped them settle in very well into the classroom.
3. Our weekly library trips continue in our school library. We love reading lots of new books and having some chill time with our friends in the library. Our new library day for this term is Tuesday.
4. We were learning about the number 8 this month in maths. We are becoming more confident with combining numbers and love using the different maths resources to help us.
5. We learned about foxes in SESE this month. We wrote some facts about foxes and made some chalk pastel foxes in art.
6. Happy Chinese New Year! This year is the year of the snake. We learned about the different traditions and made our own lanterns and decorations.
