We had a great start to 2025 in Patrick’s 2nd class!
Here are some of the activities that we got up to this month:
1. We delved into the topic of Homes in Learn Together. We explored, talked about, and created drawings of homes from various parts of the world. Afterward, we used recyclable materials to craft different types of homes and buildings in our art project. A big thank you to everyone who contributed recyclable materials for us to use!
2. We had a wonderful assembly with our 5th class buddies! We discussed our value of the month, Compassion, and then had a great conversation with our buddies, learning some new and interesting facts about them!
3. In science, we conducted an experiment to investigate the friction on different surfaces. We used toy cars, a ramp, a plastic surface, and a carpeted surface. Which surface do you think had more or less friction?
4. A huge thank you to our Student Council representatives for their dedication and hard work since 1st class! We’ve voted to elect our new representatives, so stay tuned... they’ll be announced in next month’s website update!
