We have had a brilliant start to the new year with lots fun and great learning happening!
We made beautiful New Year Firework art creations. We used different coloured strips of card to make a 3-D effect piece. Don’t they look amazing? We also made lovely lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year.
We were lucky enough to be invited up to see our buddies last week and to look at all the wonderful art projects 4th Class have been working on. They were fantastic! Well done 4th Class!
Our Learn Together value for January was compassion. We read the story Have you Filled a Bucket Today and created our own buckets. We are Bucket Fillers in first class which means we use kinds words and show respect to each other. We also talked about having compassion for ourselves and thinking about ways to relax. We’ve practised some yoga to help us relax.
Finally, we made beautiful hearts made out of clay for a very special day coming up. We hope you love them!
