5th class have been very busy since last time we updated our news!
Just before our mid term break we earned our breakfast morning reward for our excellent skills at lining up and moving quietly through the school. We really enjoyed this, even though we were very full afterwards!
Gerry from Roundtowers has been teaching us some great football skills.
We had a Tennis Taster, which was very fun and some of us discovered new talents we had!
During Maths Week, our buddies in 2nd Class came to our classroom to show us some board games that they had made for homework that week. We created a maths trail for the class and hunted around the school for maths questions which we helped the 2nd Class answer.
Lastly, both 5th and 6th class have been running as part of Marathon Kids for the last 8 weeks. We ran a different distance each day and finished up our marathon in Morton Stadium with a mile run. We ran 42km in total over the 8 weeks. This is an incredible achievement and everyone who took part should be very proud.
