We had a very busy October in senior infants!
1. We were learning all about the farm and harvest and had a visit to Newbridge Farm during Park Day.
2. We have been working really hard on our CVC words during phonics stations. We made words using magnetic letters and wrote them on our whiteboards.
3. We had great fun during maths week. One of the activities we did was making 2-D shapes using lollipop sticks and playdough.
4. Our whole school celebration for October was Diwali. We learned all about the festival of light and made some diya lamps from paper plates and decorated them with lots of colour.
5. We had great fun during dress up day and had a dance party in the classroom! It was a great end to the first half term!
