Healthy Mind Healthy Body Fortnight Continues

The school has definitely been buzzing with activity over the last couple of days. Lots of delicious healthy food being made and tasted. Joanna and Dermot have worded their magic with the blenders helping children make lovely smoothies and we were lucky to have Niamh spend a second day in our school showing the children how to make and taste healthy treats and snacks. https://www.biabites.net/

The children have enjoyed lots of physical activity too. Walking to school, cycling, running, parachute games, yoga, GAA tournament and lots of extra PE time. Then to balance out the busy schedule Tara has been teaching mindfulness and we’ve all stopped for our DREAM time meditation each day to relax, breath and take time to think.
