Our automatic weather station was officially launched on Thursday 16th September. We had the pleasure of welcoming Deputy Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Daniel Whooley, Joanne Donnelly from Met Eireann, as well as some representatives from Fingal County Council. Deirdre’s 3rd Class attended the launch and they will observe and record the weather for the year. You will be able to view our weather station live online on https://wow.met.ie/ in the coming week.
The automatic weather station records wind speed/direction, rainfall, temperature, humidity and sunlight.
