The boys and girls made paper origami dragon eyes as part of our theme of construction. They were even able to blink ! We also designed black and white paper sculptures based on Charles McGee's art.
Our Learn Together value for January was courage. We learned about important figures who showed great courage such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Malala Yousafzai. We designed feathers with quotes to inspire people to have courage.
We learned about the Celts in History. We looked at pictures of different artefacts and had to guess what we thought they were and what they were used for. We then compared our guesses with the real uses of the artefacts.
We had a Seó Faisin as Gaeilge when learning about the theme of Éadaí. The boys and girls had to prepare a script and describe the clothes they were wearing. Bhí sé an-ghreannmhar !
